Our supporters make public access possible!

Our signature preserve, purchased in 1999 and opened in 2005, is Navarro Point. Located just south of Albion, these bluffs between Highway 1 and the ocean feature amazing views and an impressive diversity of plants, including some only found on the Mendocino Coast and nowhere else on earth! This 56-acre preserve, with its stunning wildflowers and a 1.2-mile coastal trail, is managed by the Mendocino Land Trust. There are rare plants in many locations on this property. Know that the bluffs are very steep, so for your safety, please stay on the trail. There is parking here, but no restrooms or trash receptacles. We ask that you pack out everything you pack in.
