Mendocino Bay Overlook
Mendocino Bay Overlook is a one acre public access easement which offers a spectacular view of the village of Mendocino from south of Big River (see below for directions).

The Overlook is a favorite among local artists and visitors for capturing the spectacular view of Mendocino Village.
The Land Trust also allows up to a dozen weddings to be held at Mendocino Bay Overlook each year, with participants lodged nearby and contributing to the local economy.
Weddings at Mendocino Bay Overlook

The Mendocino Bay Overlook offers a breathtaking view of Mendocino Village, the mouth of Big River, and the Pacific Ocean as the perfect backdrop to your wedding ceremony.
The Overlook is available for up to twelve weddings per year, limited to 100 people per wedding. Several additional limitations apply, including available parking and amplified sound.

Location and Directions
The Mendocino Bay Overlook is located at 10,000 Brewery Gulch Road, just south of Mendocino village and the Highway 1 Big River Bridge. The trail to the Overlook can be found by turning west on the first road immediately south of the Big River Bridge, across from the turnoff for Comptche-Ukiah Road. The trailhead is marked with a sign on the west side of the road.
