Who: Mendocino Land Trust, MendoParks, Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association, Latino Outdoors and YOU!

Why: Because we only have one home / una casa and we want to keep it beautiful.

You’ve heard the saying “Earth Day is Every Day.” We at MLT strongly agree, and our efforts to conserve the natural places of Mendocino County are in effect 365 days a year. However, Earth Day (April 22) is a time to celebrate these achievements and an opportunity for people to participate in bettering the natural areas we all share. In partnership with MendoParks, Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association and Latino Outdoors, we are hosting a drop-in Earth Day Clean-Up at Pudding Creek to get you in the Earth Day spirit, four days early.

Stop by a table we’ll have set up just north of the Pudding Creek trestle (at the “Silvergate” parking area next to the Beachcomber Motel) and grab trash bags, gloves and hand sanitizer for your family group to do some DIY trash removal. Return to the table with your bag of trash for disposal and prizes (while supplies last). Esme Plascencia of Latino Outdoors will be available to chat with your group, answer questions and point out flowers and other natural wonders. We hope you can come say hello and lend a hand in keeping the trails, waterways and beaches we all share looking good and safe for wildlife.

Please respect social distancing and wear a mask when near people not in your household.
