Land conservation, preserves, and public access with the future in mind.
You won’t believe what we’ve been up to in 2023! So far we finished 5 miles of new trail on the Lost Coast, begun the process of developing coastal trail on the South Coast, and we currently have several conservation easements in process that once finished will protect redwood and coastal habitats. We are, with the Bureau of Land Management and several California agencies, working to protect thousands of acres of oak woodland and ranch land in inland parts of the county.
We are getting all of that done while keeping our commitment to monitor land all over the county and protecting habitat in vulnerable wild places.
