July 24, 2010: Big River Stewards Laguna Marsh Broom Bash #2 from 9am -1pm. Join the Mendocino Land Trust’s Big River Stewards for a second work day removing Scotch Broom from remote and scenic Laguna Marsh. Last week we removed outliers and pared the infestation down to a mere 0.15 miles of road. This weekend, with your help, we’ll completely remove the remaining sprouts. The good news is that since these are all new sprouts, they’re easy to hand pull! Volunteers will meet at Big River at 9am for the carpool to the site.
