Advisors

Advisors serve by based on their "special expertise" that is of importance to the mission of the Land Trust.  Advisors have been and will be asked to assist and advise the Land Trust on technical/land conservation issues within their domain of expertise on an “as needed” periodic basis.  Foresters, hydrologists, land conservation experts, biologists, environmental educators, estate and financial planners, state agency representatives, appraisers, surveyors, geographic information and information technology specialists have been invited.

Counselors

Counselors have been invited to serve based on their special affiliation with the Mendocino County community and their support of the work of the Land Trust. The invited Counselors are notable in the community for their volunteer spirit, legislative skill, community activism, conservation partnership and leadership, and land stewardship.  The Land Trust intends to consult annually with the Counselors about its progress as an organization serving the community.
